The second prize winner is Mr Freddie C. Buenaflor.
Here is his entry:
"My marriage proposal for her would be something creative and memorable for the both of us. First, I will send an invitation to her for an Art and Craft Exhibition that is dedicated to our courtship days. The venue will be in a building with a rooftop. Time at 7pm, dress code: semi-formal attire.
I will begin by renting a large enough place for the exhibit. There, I will post the history of how we got to know each other, and through whom we met. I will put up photos taken at the beginning of our relationship, until the end of our journey. They will be of pictures of places we travelled to together. I will also put souvenir items we treasure and momentos we gave to each other over the years.
There will be an area for our family and friends to place their testimonies to our relationship, which she can then read. The place will be strewn with rose petals and instrumental music playing in the background.
After she finishes reminiscing, someone will escort her to the roof top. There, I will wait for her with a bouquet of her favourite hydrangeas, jasmines and tulips. The ambience will be very romantic, quiet and serene. There will be a table with two chairs just for us, surrounded with flowers. A violinist will be playing love songs under the stars.
We will dine together, talk for a while and then I will invite her to dance to our favourite love song. Midway through the dance, lots of balloons fly up into the sky, and they will carry a huge note which says, "Will you be mine forever, Babe?" "
