I CAN interpret Mr Chia Han Keong's piece "Women just can't take the pressure" (my paper, Aug 11) only as the words of a pure sexist.
His column is going to make many - males and females alike - very angry, including Chinese athletes and officials. I am not sure what figures he based his remarks on, but the article was absolutely unnecessary.
