Getting insured

I recently got married, and my husband has just started out on his own business. Because of that, he has sold off his previous policies and now doesn't have any cover. Is there some kind of family policy I can consider getting, which can be tagged to my own life/critical illness insurance policies, that will also provide cover for my husband?

To my knowledge there is no family policy of such kind. Life insurance underwriting is based on individual, though spouse can own a policy that insures the other spouse. Insurable interest of course exist. I am not aware of any family package for life insurance. There is family package for medical/travel insurance where a discount is given when a family of at least three sign up and at least one of the three is a parent.
