Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) Breast Cancer Unit completed an art therapy project, and will exhibit it this weekend at Novena Square.
Starting with blank canvases and blank stares at a support group meeting in April, survivors then created 56 pieces.
Art therapist Jessica Koh said she put out the art materials and gave the women free rein. From having no idea what to paint, many ended up producing four or five pieces.
The exhibition will then move to the KKH atrium and remain there till the end of this month.
