Online personality tests - most of us have tried them, be it out of curiosity or desperation, at one time or another.

But this virtual quiz developed by Clique Wise LLP promises to take away the guesswork when looking for love - and help you find your potential life mate with more accuracy.

Funded by The Partner Connection Fund, local social networking and singles' events organiser Clique Wise LLP developed the Wow-Her.com Date Profiling system with a specific target to help single Singaporeans increase their chances of meeting the right partner during social networking events.

Ms Lydia Gan, co-founder of Clique Wise LLP, said: "There are many online date profiling systems but these tend to be targeted at Western countries, with different basic assumptions about sexuality and social structures. Singaporeans are slightly more conservative and socially cohesive, so it is important that we factor these differences into our questionnaire.

"We have taken care to word it in a more local manner to encourage quick comprehension. The first answer is nearly always the most accurate answer when it comes to personality assessments so we can?t have candidates labouring too long over the questions."

After answering the 40 questions in the questionnaire, the participant is informed of his or her colour personality. There are a possible 16 colours, and the participant will also be told which other colour personality makes a best match for his or her own colour. A list of personal traits and characteristics, as well as strengths and weaknesses of the person's character is also generated, with a specific idea to describe how the person behaves in a relationship.
