Submit a photo via through www.openyourheart.com.sg, that best explains love, and its connection to HIV / AIDS.

Themed “LOVE +ve”, participants of the photo competition simply need to submit their best interpretation of love and its connection to HIV / AIDS, with an aim to de-stigmatise the disease.  The competition is open to all citizens and residents of Singapore aged between 16 to 29 years old.  Participants may submit more than one photograph, either in colour or monochrome, but each photograph must be accompanied by a title or a short write-up to explain the idea and concept behind it.

An online voting mechanism will be used to shortlist 20 finalists, who will be revealed on March 28, 5pm at the “Open Your Heart” event at the Orchard Cineleisure foyer*.

Two prizes will be awarded:

-          The Judges’ Choice, decided by a panel of professional judges (Prize: S$3,000 cash)

-          The Voters’ Choice, which is the finalist entry that receives the most number of votes by the public from March 28, 5pm till March 30, 2pm.  (Prize: S$1,000 cash).  Ten lucky SMS voters will also stand to win S$50 worth of Heeren vouchers and a cool laptop messenger bag.
