You may know by now that Wykidd Song has collaborated with Soo Kee Jewellery to create a range of black gold and diamonds. They seem to be the antithesis of a good sparkler, but these gems show off an understated elegance that would make them look comfortable adorning any neck or finger.
Wykidd adds:"I was initially influenced by the abstract geometric shapes of flowers, and the kaleidoscope of colours they represent. Then I began to look at the roots and soil, the dark element of earth, which black represents. "
Some of the designs are whimsical with coloured gems and geometric floral forms. But the addition of black gold and diamonds breathe a new found elegance. It's exciting to introduce a non-colour, adds a bit of an edge."
