The British-based high street fashion and accessories store has slashed its prices storewide by 15 per cent permanently.
A spokesman for River Island, Singapore, said the move is a response to customer feedback over prices at the store known for its fashionable apparel.
He said: 'We are mindful that the current economic outlook and rising cost of living mean that consumers will be more cost conscious.'
So, it has adjusted its pricing to ensure that the brand, distributed by the Robinson Group, continues to be accessible.
Which means that a pair of jeans, which used to be $105, now costs $90, dresses have gone from $159 to $149 each and T-shirts range from $39 to $51 each instead of $45 to $59 previously.
The Singapore-only initiative will not apply to River Island stores elsewhere.
For this month, receive a $15 voucher with every $120 spent at River Island, 01-41 VivoCity and 02-34 Raffles City
