Welcome baby Jainus

ACTOR Darren Lim and his wife, former actress Evelyn Tan, welcomed their baby boy, Jainus, at 4.13pm last Saturday.

Such a numerical coincidence - he was born at 4.13pm on 4/13 - would have prompted most Singaporeans to try their luck at the nearest 4D outlet.

Not Lim. He says he and his wife are Christians and do not gamble. Anyway, the second-time Dad is just glad that his wife had an easier time in labour, say reports.

Tan had labour pains for only an hour before the boy, weighing 3.34kg, was born in Thomson Medical Centre.

She was in labour for 12 hours when she gave birth to daughter Kristen two years ago.

On his part, Lim said he has revised his original plan to have 12 children but hopes she will give him two more children. Maybe twins next year, he said.
