IT'S official: Singapore guys have the hots for Jolin Tsai, the 'G-Cup Heavenly Queen' of Taiwan.
The singer, known for her dance moves and curves, has been voted No. 1 on the inaugural Hot 100 list of the Singapore edition of men's monthly magazine Maxim.
She beat Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, at No. 2, by less than 1,000 votes. More than 60,000 votes were cast by readers online.
Rounding up the top five are Singapore-based foreign talents: Malaysian-born hosting-acting twins Teh May Wan and Teh Choy Wan at No. 3, Australian-born actress Jaymee Ong at No. 4 and Hong Kong-born host Debbie Wong at No. 5.
American actress Lindsay Lohan, home-grown blogger Dawn Yang and Hong Kong actress Tiffany Lee are also in the top 10.
Maxim launched the list this year to synergise with other newer Asian editions of the lads' magazine, which also compiled their lists this year, said editor Dylan Tan.
In one of several surprises, 'last year's Miss Singapore, Carol Cheong, ranked higher than Jessica Tan, who won this year', he said.
'Also, Anna Nicole Smith cracked the top 30 and she's the only dead celeb on our list,' he said of the American model who died in February this year.
A Hot 100 supplement comes free with the July issue of Maxim, out today. Those who buy the issue have a chance of winning tickets to the Hot 100 party at Powerhouse club at St James on July 4 and chilling out with celebrities.
Launched in 2004, Maxim is published by SPH Magazines.
