First it was fashion designer Wykidd Song for Soo Kee Jewellery, then musician Dick Lee for Lee Hwa Jewellery. Now it's former TV presenter Lisa Ang (right) for Goldheart Jewellery.
Ang, 37, is the latest Singapore personality to tie up with a local jeweller to design a capsule jewellery collection. Titled Voyage, her design comprises a pair of wedding bands inspired by her 13-year marriage to radio DJ-turned-entrepreneur Ivan Rantung.
The thick, white gold rings feature curved, engraved lines, four Celestial diamonds - the world's first 73-facet diamonds - encrusted on one side of the ring, and four other gemstones - green emerald, blue sapphire, blue topaz and aquamarine - on the other side.
It took Ang, a first-time jewellery designer, three weeks to come up with the designs with help from designers from Goldheart.
She says the coloured gemstones represent the four most important people in her life, two of them being Rantung and their two-year-old daughter, Ariel.
'As for the other two, I'd like to keep it to myself for now. Maybe in two months' time, you will know.'
Nominated MP Eunice Olsen is also working on a collection with Goldheart, but her designs will not be unveiled until next month.
All designs will be inspired by, and feature in some way, the Goldheart Celestial diamond.
'These pieces convey the universal message of romance, love and commitment,' says Magdalene Eng, Goldheart's senior brand manager.
The Voyage wedding bands by Lisa Ang will be available at all Goldheart stores from August.
