'No' to marriage from prospective dad-in-law

There will be no wedding bells now for couple Juno Mak, son of Hong Kong's CCT Telecom Holdings CEO and Hong Kong starlet Gilllian Chung.

Shin Min Daily News reported that Clement Mak has forbade Juno Mak to marry her, after news of her involvement in the scandal with Edison Chen was made public.

Mak senior had allegedly said that Chung will never marry into the Mak family.

Gillian, who was reportedly living with Juno after the scandal broke, to hide from the public and the paparazzi, was driven away by Mak senior after the truth of her involvement was confirmed.

Juno had once declared his excitement about marrying Chung, but he has since changed his tune after Mak senior decided that he will not let her wed his son.

In addition, Juno commented that "he was too young to get married". He also said "he never thought about getting married".

But the singer is not without his share of controversy.

The singer was previously involved in an awards show scandal where Mak senior allegedly paid off judges of an award show for Juno to win.
