Felicia Chin: I felt like I was being "violated"

The dangers of being a rising celebrity.

Felicia Chin related a close brush she encountered with an overenthusiastic fan in a recent interview with Lianhe Wanbao.

The MediaCorp artiste told the paper that a middled-aged man had come up to her in public and grabbed her to take a photo with him.

She said to LianHe Wanbao: "When we were taking a photo, he held my waist very tightly with a lot of strength, and forced me to be very close to him.

"I had the feeling my modesty was outraged."

The celebrity reveals that she will usually try to accommodate fans' requests for photos and autographs when they approach her on the street, but she was not sure whether the man was being a little too enthusiastic, or if he was trying to take advantage of her.

In the end, she managed to pull away from the fan.
