HK actress weds Singaporean

HONG KONG - Hong Kong actress Jacqueline Law, 41, tied the knot with a Singaporean finance executive on Tuesday, The Straits Times reported.

The English daily quoted Ming Pao Daily News that she and her beau of 10 years, Mr Liu Chee Ming, 57, shed tears of joy at a morning marriage ceremony in St John's Cathedral in Hong Kong's Central district.

The groom's two sons by his late wife were the best men, and actresses Monica Chan and Kitty Lai were among the bridal party, according to the reports.

Guests at the couple's wedding include actress Shereen Tang, actor Dicky Cheung, TVB general manager Stephen Chan and Bank of East Asia chairman David Li.

Hong Kong's Apple Daily reported that Mr Liu fell for the actress at first sight and asked his friends, film producer Charles Heung and his wife Tiffany Chen, to introduce them.

Jacqueline said that she will leave her baby plans to nature as she has 'three sons' - her husband and two stepsons - to look after.

The couple will honeymoon in Beijing, where they will catch the closing ceremony of the Olympics.
