THE honeymoon will have to wait for Chinese actress Hu Jing, who will be marrying Frank Choo, managing director of Malaysian funeral services firm Xiao En Group, on Saturday.

Hu Jing said she will be flying to Beijing after the wedding to continue filming a drama series. The honeymoon would instead take place during the Chinese New Year holidays.

"I have not fulfilled my acting dream yet," the 30-year-old told Sin Chew Daily from Beijing when asked if she would retire from acting after getting married.

She and Choo, 43, were seen shopping for a wedding gown and diamond ring in Beijing two months ago.

They reportedly met at a dinner in 2004 but the media only found out about their relationship last April.

On her future mother-in-law, Datin Choo Lein Sei Keng (who is Xiao En Group chairman), Hu Jing said: "She is a very down-to-earth person and is very nice to others. I just treat her like the elders in my family and I respect her opinions."
