The New Paper
Sizzling hot

SHE is indisputably the prettiest of the newly-debuted eight-girl Taiwanese band Hey Girl.

Meet Albee Huang, or Xiao Xun to fans.

She shot to fame as a contestant on the Channel (V) reality TV show Hei Se Hui Mei Mei. She has since done acting projects in teen dramas like The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries and 18 Censoring Or Not.

The 19-year-old babe, who hails from the Taiya tribe, is fast garnering a strong fan base, not just in Taiwan but also in Hong Kong and China.

When she quit 18 Censoring Or Not halfway to embark on new project Brown Sugar Macchiato last year, fans protested so fervently online that Albee herself had to write a blog to pacify them.

Then, she emerged second to S.H.E's Ella Chen in an online poll for 'which female star would look best in a bikini'.

Albee, who is attending nursing school, is also known to be the best singer and actress among her Hey Girl bandmates.

Famed producer Ke Yiqin once said that Albee's potential as an actress is 'limitless', and she also won praise for a recent tear-jerking scene in The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries.

What's her biggest weakness then?

She is not much of a dancer as she has difficulty coordinating her body movements.

But that is set to change.

Albee has been tasked with learning Indian dance by her management company, and she is supposed to show off her new skill soon.

Yummy factor: 3 out of 5
