He gave up action-packed hobbies for his little girl

THIS adrenaline junkie with a penchant for fast cars does not regret his change of lifestyle at all.

Mr Louis Leong, 39, the technical training head of ST Aerospace, is father to six-year-old Shannen. He is married to client relations managerMs Joline Leong, 38.

The former test flight pilot and extreme sports lover - bungee jumping and paragliding are his favourites - traded his flashy lifestyle for a steadier, slower-paced life of fatherhood in 2002. Mr Leong said he has matured after becoming a father.

"I used to be hot tempered, but teaching and listening to Shannen has taught me patience," he said.

Father and daughter enjoy similar interests. They talk about cartoons and cruise on highways in his Mitsubishi sports car - but he makes sure he watches his speed now.

On his daily alone time with Shannen, Mr Leong said: "It makes her happy when I make time to talk and do things she enjoys.

"I don't want to just be a distant father. I want to be my girl's Daddy."

Mr Leong has already celebrated Father's Day - the family celebrated had dinner together with relatives last weekend.
