Good barter bash

Get your war paint and game face on - Fash Bash is back.

The fashion bazaar, which drew more than 2,000 shoppers to its debut in May last year, will take place again this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm at CurioCity gallery at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts campus in Bencoolen Street.

Expect the usual suspects: familiar home-grown labels such as Baylene, Swirl, Tskye and Tan Tan, as well as jewellery designers Black Ivory, Mea Culpa, Logo and Woon Hung.

There will also be the usual bartering of well-loved designer togs and accessories from virtually every imaginable label. So practise your best bargaining lines now.

Previous fruits of barter labour reportedly include a pair of brand new Prada heels for $120 and $5 Hermes scarves.

Don't forget to bring your Anya Hindmarch "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" bag to a) show how special you are, b) express your awareness for the environment and, most importantly, c) dump all of your shopping in.
