The Chanel 2.55 is the quintessential pocketbook bag. Coco Chanel designed it because she wanted a shoulder bag that would free women's hands. The bag derived its name from the date it was launched in February 1955. But understated status doesn't come cheap with an entry-level 2.55 costing about $4,000. Still, three of the youngest Urban writers, none of whom are a day over 24, can't wait to get their hands on one. They tell you why.
