Many other have mistaken Ms Heng for Lin Chiling.

The photo on the right is of the Taiwanese model, when she was in Singapore for a promotional tour last year.

The photo of Ms Heng in a blue blouse shown here was taken two years ago, and it started the comparisions to Chiling.

But it was another photo during her university years that kickstarted her modelling career.

Recalled Ms Heng: 'I sent my photo to Teenage magazine and the next thing I knew, I was on the cover.

'Then I showed it to Diva Models and they sent me for casting (for modelling jobs).'

You might remember her in print advertisements for SingTel, Cold Storage, HSBC and Chijmes, to name a few.

She earned good money and managed to save about $20,000 to repay her tuition fee loan.

'I wanted to be debt-free before stepping into the society to work,' she reasoned.
