From hostess in bar to hottest with blog
After the scandal, her blog scores 270,000 hits in just 3 days
HER blog is currently the hottest one in Hong Kong. No surprise because Coco Liu Yao is the nightclub hostess who caused Hong Kong broadcast chief Chu Pui Hing's downfall. Earlier this month, the married MrChu stepped out of the exclusive MustKara club along with Coco in Elizabeth House, Causeway Bay, and walked straight into the paparazzi. Since Wednesday, Coco's blog scored more than 278,000 hits in just three days. The number of hits peaked at 132,427 on Thursday alone. Her last entry was on 24 Jan, while her most recent login was on 15 Jun. The blog, set up last August, features photos, some of them revealing. GIRL WITH THE WIG In it she goes from the the simple girl-next-door type sans makeup to scantily-clad seductress with heavily-drawn mascara. And the star 'accessory' in most of her wardrobe has to be the different wigs she has donned, including the infamous one that Mr Chu held on to when he was fleeing from the paparazzi. Coco, who uses the nickname 'Yumiko', lists her occupation as a student.
She describes herself as an extrovert who's bold, romantic and humorous - evident especially in the album of her photos uploaded. Coco also had no reservations about sharing her date of birth (13 Jan 1987) and even contact details such as her e-mail address (louisvuittonyumiko@hotmail.com) and her handphone number. But she stopped short of discussing her personal life in her blog entries. Instead, she waxed lyrical about life in general. In her profile, she wrote: 'There's no decent woman... she is decent only because she has not tasted enough temptation. 'No man is faithful... he is faithful only because he does not have enough chips of betrayal (to gamble with).' There were some interesting comments posted on her blog. 'Kingfu', male, wrote: 'So beautiful... My goddess.' But another male blogger, 'Wu Ya', disagreed: 'You're not very pretty lah. There are many in my hometown, you're just average looking. Just feel that you're dreaming... Coco, who is reportedly lying low in her hometown of Sichuan, declared in an interview that the recent scandal 'cannot stop me from going back to Hong Kong for more golden opportunities'. She harbours hopes of becoming Hong Kong's top mamasan. In another interview published in Eastweek magazine this week, she said: 'My aim is to earn HK$10 million ($1.9m) so that I can return to my hometown to open a bar.' She also had no sympathy for MrChu, who had to quit ahead of his planned retirement. Despite turning into a celebrity of sorts, Coco lamented over her current 'misfortune.' She said: 'Please, I've to play hide-and-seek to avoid more unwanted attention. I think I'm more pitiful because I can't go out and make money.' |
