THE Singapore International Jewellery Show (SIJS) 2007 is a trade and consumer exhibition.

Back for the third successive year, SIJS 2007 brings together leading local and international producers, suppliers and manufacturers showcasing fine jewellery, watches, gems and accessories.

The show is organised by Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS) and Singapore International Jewellers, co-hosted by the Singapore Jewellers Association, the Diamond Exchange of Singapore and the World Gold Council.

It is supported by Spring Singapore and Singapore Tourism Board.

This year's show is presented by Da Vinci Holdings. SIJS 2007 aims to be recognised as a prestigious and celebrated jewellery show in Singapore and South-east Asia. It wants to promote Singapore as the jewellery design hub of South-east Asia to international buyers and traders.

This year, on the regional and international fronts, SIJS is partnering the Sri Lanka National Gem and Jewellery Authority and collaborating with the Italian Trade Commission, which hail from two countries renowned for their gemstones and jewellery designs respectively.

Mr Wan Shung Ming, chairman of the Singapore International Jewellers Pte Ltd, says: "We aim to provide an exciting environment for visitors to feast their eyes on an amazing collection of some of the latest jewellery design and also to keep abreast with new industry developments and to network and form successful business relationships."

SIJS 2007 offers a one-stop location of 6,000 sq m space and is anticipating a turnout of 15,000 visitors to the show.
