You can tie it, knot it and wrap it around. The scarf is a must-have item in your wardrobe as it is the perfect accessory to jazz up that little black dress, a business suit or even a casual outfit. Fashion stylist Trey Wong, 30, says: 'Printed scarves can turn the simplest outfit into a hit. This is because they can be used to achieve different looks.
'For example, a scarf can be tied around a dress or a blouse to give it more definition.'
Here are his three recommendations on how to use a scarf.
HALTER-TOP

Tie a knot in the middle of the wrong side of the scarf. Next, tie the ends around your neck and the back of your waist. Worn with a jacket, the outfit can take you from a day at the office to a nice dinner date within minutes.

BOHO BAG

Using two bangles, slip the two top corners through one bangle in the front and pull the ends from the back. Next, wrap the scarf corners around the front of the bangle and tie the ends into a square knot. Repeat the two steps with the other side of the scarf and the second bangle.

SARONG PARTY

Using two scarves, wrap one around your waist, knotting it at the side. Then take another scarf, wrap it over and fasten the knot over one hip. You can wear this over a swimsuit to the beach or pool.

CARE
Hang the scarf over a padded hanger or fold it into a box or drawer. Iron at a low temperature and dry clean only when it is soiled.
